چکیده
Cortinarius eucaeruleus is identified from central Black Sea region of Türkiye based on morphological characteristics and ribosomal DNA gene sequence analyses. This species was found calcareous soil associated with Quercus in autumn season Tokat province Türkiye. It has distinctive features such as strong deep violaceous blue pileus, ellipsoid densely verrucose spores. In addition to the features, ITS (internal transcribed spacer) LSU (large subunit ribosomal) analyses indicated that studied specimen C. for first time

This is the third in a series of publications on floristic studies of macrofungi of Arasbaran forests (NW. Iran). In the first paper, new species of the genus Cortinarius, subgenus Myxacium collected from Arasbaran forests, were reported for the first time in Iran. In this paper, species of the genus Cortinarius, subgenus Phlegmacium are presented. Six species viz. C. fluryi, C. paracephalixus,...
متن کاملThe largest type study of Agaricales species to date: bringing identification and nomenclature of Phlegmacium (Cortinarius) into the DNA era
Cortinarius is a species-rich and morphologically challenging genus with a cosmopolitan distribution. Many names have not been used consistently and in some instances the same species has been described two or more times under separate names. This study focuses on subg. Phlegmacium as traditionally defined and includes species from boreal and temperate areas of the northern hemisphere. Our goal...
متن کاملMorphological and Molecular Identification of Acanthamoeba Spp from Surface Waters in Birjand, Iran, During 2014-2015
Background & Aims of the Study: Free-living amoebae (FLA) are opportunistic and ubiquitous protozoa that are widely found in various environmental sources. They are known to cause serious human infections including a fatal encephalitis, a blinding keratitis, and pneumonia. So, due to their medical importance, the identification of free living amoeba in water resources, as a sou...
